Theme  : The Hardest thing I have to do 

GOD Took My HERO

           

Last year in July, I and my family went to my uncle house we attend the recitation alquran for  our cousin who already passed away. We arrived there around 17.00 o’clock.

We went to living room and prayed together with the other family, after we finished pray suddenly my father fall down and we were shock. I did not what should I do. The thing that I can do was hug my father and my mother decide to brought my father to hospital. In hospital the doctor check my father’s condition and he said if he got stoke. I was very shock and felt sad I cannot imagine if my father got stroke.

My father cared for several days in hospital. I waited my father with my mother and my brother, we always beside him because we afraid if something happened with him. We always prayed for him, and step by step  day by day his condition became better and better we felt very happy because my father can moved his hand slowly, he can moved his feet slowly. Oh my GOD I was happy at that time.

Everyday many people even my family or my father’s friend came to saw his condition and gave us support, in the third day my family from pringsewu came to the hospital they felt very sad because of my father condition, they cried together and they cannot hide their felling, when my father saw all of them cry, of course he wept, few minute later his condition became weakened, his body temperature was not normal, his breath begun to fail, breathing apparatus also begun to did not work.

We called the doctor and he said if my father have to moved in ICU room because his condition became weakened, so we walked behind the doctor to the ICU room, around 1 hour finally the doctor called my mother and asked my mother to saw my father condition. I cannot saw my father because in ICU room just one people to waited one patient, so I waited in front of the ICU room with my brother. When my mother went out of the ICU room, she said if my father condition became more good.

In the night we still waited my father, we waited him in the waiting room beside ICU room we slept there my mother asked me to went home and slept at home but I did not want, so we slept together in waiting room, actually we cannot slept we just silent and did not talked each other. At 02.00 o’clock the nurse called us and told us to get into the room and she told us if his condition was bad, his heart cannot pumped the blood again, and the doctor said if the possibility for back to the good condition again is very small. I cannot did anything else except prayed to GOD, to gave my father the strength, on this night we cannot slept, i called my sister who still studied in Jogja to came back tomorrow because of my father.

In the morning after pray subuh I entered to ICU room I saw my father there I tried to talk with him, but there is no answered, but I saw my father cried, I cannot controlled myself I cried too , and I said  “Dad how are you today? I LOVE YOU”. The time to accompany my father has run out, I approached my mother and said “ Daddy is okay” my mother cried slowly.

In the afternoon my sister came she looks very sad. She saw our father in ICU room for a while, after that we prayed together for our father, we ask to GOD to make my father happy, no need to felt the pain. After we prayed together we went to the waiting, not long after that the nurse called us to entered the room, I was confused why all of us allowed to enter the room, because the rule is one by one, obviously my father get coma, we felt sad but we have to strong. We lead our father to said 2 syahhadat sentences, and after that at 07.00 o’clock my father passed away.

I felt very sad and did not expect this condition before, but of course I have to strong like my father when he fight His ill before, but I believed  that now my father in the heaven, he did not feel the pain again, and he will angry with me if I always cried for him, but the hardest thing to do is letting go my father even I did not want but I have to.

1.     Tell the description of narrative writing and how to differ from other writing genres.

·                     Tell the description of narrative writing

Narrative texts are usually fantasy stories (fiction) or real experiences (nonfiction).
Characteristic of narrative text is the existence of two elements, namely when there is a conflict then there will be solution in solving the conflict.
            Narrative text aims to entertain readers with a fantasy or real experiences, to describe a particular person place or thing, to tell/retell past events/experience in a chronological sequence for the purpose of informing or entertaining, to describe how something is accomlished through a  sequence of actions or steps, and to describe the way things are with reference to a range of natural man-made and social phenomena in our environment. 

·                     How to differ from other writing genres

how to distinguish a narrative text with other text is very simple we just need to know what part of the narrative text , and what are the characteristic of narrative text

Narrative text consists of three main parts :

( 1 ) Orientation is when the author describes a world for the story , such as providing information in a story where the incident occurred , as well as anyone figures involved in the story , so the reader more easly to understand the story.
( 2 ) Complications are currently the main character in the story usually find obstacles, face hurdles when he wanted to get something, this is where the main character will encounter various difficulties .
( 3 ) Resolution is when the main character find a solution or a way out for all the problems faced in this section the author sometimes gives a happy ending or a sad ending , and it is possible that the authors provide no clear end or hanging ending , is intended to make the reader make a guess at the end of the story .

From the point of view of language features , narrative text is characterized as follows :

1 . Participants are specific and often individually

2 . Lot of action verbs ( material processes) , and there is also the use of verbal and mental processes .

3 . Usually use the Past tense .

4 . Use lingking Many Words related to time .

5 Often incorporate dialogue and tense will probably change .

6 Descriptive language used for creating images in the minds of readers.

7 can be written in the first person ( 1 ) , or third ( he, she , they ) .

After knowing the form of narrative text and also a characteristic of narrative text then we can easily distinguish the narrative text with other text .

2.Write the steps how to make a narrative writing. Don't forget to give example for every step.

The first step is chose the good topic, the topic is the key when the reader read the paragraph.

The second step in making a narrative paragraph is to determine the topic sentences, topic sentences is the main idea in a paragraph, when we have determined that we can develop topic sentences paragraphs more easily for the example :

·         The unforgettable moment is 6 days ago it was my birthday.  (paragraph one)

·         That morning, I went to college with excited of course because it was my birthday, and at the time I was 20 years old, on the way   I have imagined how my friends would give congratulate and surprise. (paragraph two )

·          Finally,  I arrived  in class I go and sit beside my friends, but after a while I realized that there was something different from them, they look so silent, when I invited them to chat they did not answer my question, in break time they keep away and as if against me. (paragraph three)

the third step is make a controling idea for example:

·         The unforgettable moment is 6 days ago

·         That morning, I went to college with excited of course because it was my birthday.

The thirdstep is we have to write the paragraph using past tense because the text is a narrative that tells the story of an event that happend in the past,for example :

·         Finally,  I arrived  in class I go and sit beside my friends.

3.     Rewrite your narrative writing, and show or underline the topic sentence on your writing.

20 years old

The unforgettable moment is 6 days ago it was my birthday. I was very happy because that day was the important day for me, 20 years ago when all my family happy because I was born and on that day I opened my eyes to see the world.

That morning, I went to college with excited of course because it was my birthday, and at the time I was 20 years old, on the way   I have imagined how my friends would give congratulate and surprise. when I arrived in campus I was very shocked because my friends had entered the class and that means lecturer has came, I went up the stairs in hurry.

Finally,  I arrived  in class I go and sit beside my friends. but after a while I realized that there was something different from them, they look so silent, when I invited them to chat they did not answer my question, in break time they keep away and as if against me. Even when the break time no one invited me to have lunch together, when I asked them no one answer my question, I was very confused and I did not know what   should I do. I thought that maybe they did not remember about my birthday. After the lessons ended, I was getting ready to went home and I took one of my friends to went home together but they did not want to went home with me.

I was very sad at that time, why all of my friends so different and no one of them remembered about my birthday. and no one gave me surprised, when I arrived at home I tried to called my boyfriend but the number was busy, so I decided to text him but he did not reply me, did my boyfriend forgot about my birthday? I tried to calm down, and did not expect anything again because expectations is always hurts.

in the afternoon I spend my spare time to watch TV and chat with my brother, suddenly there was the sound of people knocked on the door, when I opened the door I was amazed that my friends come to gave me surprise, then my boyfriend came from behind and also give me a surprise. I got two of birthday cakes from my boyfriend and also from my friends .I also got a lot of gifts from them, and my sister in Jogja also give me a gift, after blow the candles and cut the cake my mother took them  to eat together because my mother had prepare special dishes for them.

After that we chit chat together and they told me if they just pretended to against me because it’s my birthday, and of course they remembered about my birthday. oh my God I was very happy at that time because in my birthday I got something special from my friend, and I sure that, it was unforgettable moment that I had, and the best thing I ever had.
